Math-Aid for Grades 1 to 5
Math-Aid is a program written to help children in grades 1 through 5. The program provides practice problems or the child can enter their homework problems from school.
There are two choices when entering the program, an EASY mode or a HARD mode. The Easy mode will show carrying for two line addition or for a problem with a single number multiplier. Borrowing is shown for subtraction problems. No help will be given in the Hard mode or for three line addition.
In the Easy mode, multiplication tables can be displayed for a problem that has a single number multiplier.
Also in the Easy mode, a special table can be displayed for division problems similar to the multiplication tables.
A tutor is available from the program's menu to show how entries are made, complete with step by step illustrations.
